Description

This is Candy Spring, a gtk theme which was inspired by Nuala (it uses NualaBlue Emerald) and various customized IPhone Screenshots.

Older releases have used the elementary nautilus and the globalmenu for gnome, but thats gone. This theme is entirely usable without elementary-nautilus and/or the globalmenu.

Code-base was showtime-theme from bisigi and the nautilus.rc from Zuky by lassekongo83.

For many releases there was only the emerald-theme available, but now the theme also has a metacity-theme (a quickly modified Dust-Sand metacity).

Installation instructions (for those who are not used to it)

1. Click on download.
2. Open the terminal and type:

sudo apt-get install p7zip

3. After the installation for the 7zip archive support you should type the following in the terminal:

sudo file-roller

or

sudo xarchiver

for Xfce-users

4. Open the Archive, you have downloaded.
5. Click on extract and use this path:

/usr/share/themes/

6. Open your appearance dialogue.
7. Click on the Preferences Button.
8. Select the Theme "Candy_Spring" in Controls and window border.
9. Select your favourite icon-theme. I suggest Snowish, Mac Leopard and Cylon icon-themes.

Emerald Theme is included in the Package.

If the theme does not work, you should check the properties of the theme folder, if it still not works, you should try if you can apply other modern themes (it works well with ubuntu 10.04).

Using entirely the murrine-git engine !!!!!
